WAC Server

Remote Access Client

Remote Access Server (WAC Server)

Total Integration

WAC Server is a combined telnet/SSH1/SSH2/serial server, which means that no matter what kind of remote access client (telnet client, SSH1/SSH2 client, terminal emulator, or even an old terminal) you use, chances are that you can get connected with WAC Server.

And WAC Server can do much more than just providing remote terminal access. Here we list some of the major components that you will get when you install WAC Server:

Complete SSH Support: WAC Server not only allows you to connect with any standard SSH1 or SSH2 client, it also supports remote command execution, secure file transfer, and two-way port forwarding.

WAC Native Client: WAC Server bundles with two free native clients: WACTERM as a telnet client, and WACSSH as a SSH client. These two clients are small and efficient, and support all the terminal functionalities provided by WAC Server, like color display, mouse operation, function keys, and client side printing. They also provide a convenient way to transfer files between terminal machine and server. The WACSSH client also support port forwarding. Since these two clients are text-based applications, you can execute them remotely.

WAC Toolkit: WAC Server is bundled with a collection of text-based applications, called The WAC Toolkit. In this toolkit, you can find useful tools for daily jobs like a textual and binary editor, a file and network explorer, as well as administrative tools like a user manager, a event viewer, a registry editor, and more.

WAC Administration Tools: WAC Server includes two sets of administration tools: a GUI application called WAC Management Center, and some text-based tools that you can run from a remote terminal session. These tools allows system administrator to view server status, track user activities by monitoring real-time logging, modify server access control for users or user groups, and configure the server global settings.
